Toon keen on Moises

BY NEWCASTLE are ready to compete for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo this summer.

The Ecuador midfielder tried to force a move to Arsenal or Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle have also tracked 21-year-old Caicedo, who, despite signing a new deal and a valuation which soared to £90million in January, is sure to attract renewed interest.

And Toon are likely to be in the mix, with sporting director Dan Ashworth having helped to bring Caicedo to Brighton from Independiente del Valle two years ago.
