Duleek presents choir night in St Cianan’s

DULEEK Par­ish Choir presents ‘All In The April Even­ing’ in St Cianan’s Church, Duleek this Fri­day 20th April at 7.30pm.

‘All In The April Even­ing’ is a mu­si­cal jour­ney and takes its name from the poem writ­ten by Dublin-born poet Katharine Ty­nan Hink­in­son.

The poem is about the death of Christ on Good Fri­day, and it be­came more popular when it was set to mu­sic by Sir Hugh Rober­ton.

Ad­mis­sion is €10 for adults, €5 for chil­dren and €25 for fam­i­lies. All pro­ceeds are in aid of vi­tal church re­pairs.

Tick­ets can be bought at Duleek Par­ish Of­fice, Duleek School, Xtra Clean dryclean­ers in Duleek and mem­bers of the choir.

AGM of Ju­lianstown com­mu­nity as­so­ci­a­tion

THE An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing of the Ju­lianstown and District Com­mu­nity As­so­ci­a­tion takes place on Tues­day 24th April 2018.

The meet­ing will be held in the Par­ish Rooms of the Church of Ire­land, Ju­lianstown at 8.00pm. All wel­come.

Slan’s beauty night

St. Finian’s N.S. Dil­lon­stown, Dun­leer par­ents as­so­ci­a­tion are host­ing a Beauty Night on Fri­day 20th April at 7.30pm in Slans Pub, An­na­gas­san new back room. Hosted by pro­fes­sional Makeup artist Noelle Kir­wan and Skin­care Spe­cial­ist Christina Han­ratty. The night will con­sist of two makeovers (one teenager and one ma­ture lady) and skin­care talk and demo. Raf­fle on the night will in­clude 2 makeup vouch­ers, hair and beauty ham­per and much more. Ad­mis­sion €10. Fin­ger food pro­vided. All wel­come.

Arthri­tis ex­er­cise classes

Arthri­tis Ire­land Louth Branch Seated Ex­er­cise class ev­ery Mon­day at 7.00pm in Balls­grove Com­mu­nity Cen­tre – Cost €5

Aqua Aer­o­bic classes are held ev­ery Tues­day and Thurs­day at 8pm and Fri­days at 10:45am - Cost €5 Classes also avail­able on Mon­day and Wed­nes­day at 10:45am - Cost €7.50 . All the Aqua Aer­o­bic classes are held in In­te­gral Gym in Green­hills.

Walk­ing Group meets at 11am ev­ery Satur­day in Old­bridge House. Suits all lev­els.
