Meet­ing fo­cus on Eu­rope

LO­CAL peo­ple will get to have their say on the fu­ture di­rec­tion of Eu­rope at a Cit­i­zens’ Di­a­logue event in Meath County Coun­cil Of­fices in Na­van, on Thurs­day, 19 April at 7pm.

The event is part of a na­tion­wide se­ries of cit­i­zens’ di­a­logues or­gan­ised by the De­part­ment of Foreign Af­fairs & Trade in part­ner­ship with Euro­pean Move­ment Ire­land and is part of a con­ver­sa­tion that is tak­ing place across Eu­rope.

Min­is­ter of State for Euro­pean Af­fairs, He­len McEn­tee TD and Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor of Euro­pean Move­ment Ire­land, Noelle O’Con­nell will speak at the event.

Speak­ing at the launch of the process, Min­is­ter of State for Euro­pean Af­fairs, He­len McEn­tee TD, said: “The EU must lis­ten to its cit­i­zens. I would en­cour­age every­one across Meath and Louth to get in­volved with this di­a­logue and to feed into the process. Your in­put is cru­cial to the fu­ture of the Euro­pean Union.
