LOTTO

There was no jackpot winner in the Tintern lotto draw last week. Two lucky punters matched three numbers to share the prize of €600 as it hadn’t been won for three weeks. They were; Carrie Browne, Coole and Patsy Flood O’Connor, c/o Joy Whelan. The numbers drawn were 3, 15, 19 and 26. Next week’s jackpot will be €4,100 and next week’s match-three winners will share €200.

Draw takes place every Tuesday night at nine o’clock. Tickets on sale in all local shops and from committee members.

CARDS

Winners of the weekly card game in the hall on Saturday night last were;Johnny Flynn, Nicholas Doyle and Peter Stafford. Second prize went to Seán O’Grady, Michael Kehoe and Jack Waters. Joint third were; Margaret Cullen, Kitty Roche, Joan Kehoe and Billy Shannon, Pat Murray and Michael Culleton. The last game draw winners were Jimmy Cullen, John Joe Murphy and Sonny Cahill.

A minute’s silence was observed at Saturday nights game, as a mark of respect to the late Mary White, who passed away recently.

AID FOR CHERNOBYL
