Fines for drivers who broke the speed limit
FINES of €300 apiece were recorded against the following motorists convicted of speeding at the District Court sitting in Wexford:
Paloma Rojas Garcia (26), Shanbogh Upper, New Ross (93 km/h where 80 km/h is the limit at Camlin);
Dorin Craciun, 15A Hospital Lane, Enniscorthy (115 km/h where 100 km/h is the limit on the N30 at Mount Hanover);
John Walsh, 17 Millbrook, Enniscorthy (70 km/h where 60 km/h is the limit on the N11 at Ferrycarrig);
Nina Sanctuary, Riverlodge Equestrian Centre, Bridgetown (71 km/h where 60 km/h is the limit in Piercestown);
Philip Sinnott, 91 Ferndale Park, Wexford (94 km/h where 80 km/h is the limit in Cleariestown);
Margaret O’Doherty, 17 Esmonde Drive, Piercestown (75 km/h where 60 km/h is the limit in Piercestown);
Mary Berry, Mullanour, Murrintown (90 km/h where 80 km/h is the limit in Barntown);
Michael Connors, 11 St Ibar’s Villas, Castlebridge (61 km/h where 50 km/h is the limit at Castlebridge);
Martin Quigley, Ballygarron, Kilmuckridge (66 km/h where 50 km/h is the limit in Castlebridge);
Daniel Hanley (63), Curracloe (69 km/h where 50 km/h is the limit at Walsheslough in Rosslare).
Meanwhile, the following speeding drivers who attended Wexford District Court were fined €150 each for the offence:

Theresa Pierce (49), Tullibards, Bridgetown (broke the 80 km/h limit at Randalstown);
Sean Murray, The Orchards, Portobello, Campile (95 km/h where 80 km/h is the limit at Camlin);
Dermot Kelly (50), St Martin’s, Coolcotts (65 km/h where 50 km/h is the limit in Castlebridge).
