Wexford Meals-on-Wheels St. Bridget’s Day Care Centre aims to provide the best care, treatment and activities for older people

-

WE, IN Wexford Meals-on-Wheels Service, exist to bring hot or cold meals to those who are house bound, living alone and unable to cook for themselves. While our service is primarily for Older People, we will respond to the needs of others, i.e. homeless people or young families in distress. The Meals-on-Wheels Service gives Older People a choice and gives them the opportunity of remaining in their own homes and communities for as long as possible. We try to meet the needs and requirements of each individual. The Meals-on-Wheels Service has a twofold dimension:

1. The meals are delivered to the homes of those who need them. 2. Because of the social contact, friendships are made and there is always a warm reception for our volunteers. All our volunteers look forward to meeting and chatting with the Older People. It brightens up their day

For 47 years, Wexford Wheels-on-Meals have operated throughout the year, even on Christmas Day. No matter what the weather or circumstances, we are here to help and respond. Just ring us at (053) 9123337.
