NiallReckis theChamber’s newpresident
WEXFORD businessman Karl Fitzpatrick handed over his presidential chains to his successor Niall Reck at the well-attended annual meeting of Wexford Chamber last week.
Karl has been Chamber President for the past two years and his passion and innovative spirit has enhanced the positioning of Wexford Chamber as one of the most successful chambers in the country.
In thanking Karl, Madeleine Quirke, CEO Wexford Chamber, said his vision for new and interesting areas of business engagement has brought many opportunities for members to further market and develop their businesses.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Chamber Members and the Staff, Madeleine wished Karl every success for the future including his new position as a Board Member of Chambers Ireland.
On behalf of all involved with Wexford Chamber, Madeleine presented Karl with a gift of an original Paul Moloney painting of Wexford Town.
Niall Reck, the owner/Digital Designer for Graphedia, has years of experience designing for the web, print and video industry and has been an integral part of Wexford Chamber for a number of years. Niall said that he was honoured to be given his new role with the Chamber.
‘Karl like all Presidents before him has done tremendous work and I will be doing everything in my power to continue to develop and grow Wexford Chamber,’ said Niall.
‘I would like to thank Graham Scallan for accepting the role of Vice President and I am looking forward to working with the board and with the fabulous team at Wexford Chamber, he said.
‘Madeleine has established a very close working relationship with many key stakeholders across the county, and probably across the country, and again I am looking forward to building on these relationships . It will be important to continue to work collaboratively with Wexford County Council and with the other County Wexford Chambers in order to market and develop our county.’
Niall said Wexford Chamber has come a long way and was a healthy and relevant body.
