ON COUNTY TEAM

Two members of the St Fintan’s GAA Club were members of the Wexford senior football team that traveled to Longford to take on the home team in Div.3 of the Allianz league. Though Jim Rossitter and Donel Shanley battled hard to secure a first victory in the league it was not to be with Longford taking the spoils leaving Wexford a mammoth task to avoid an immediate return to Div.4. Keep up the good work lads.

LOTTO

The jackpot in the St Fintan’s GAA Club lotto now stands at €9,000 and tickets may be purchased from some club members, local shops and the club grounds in Ballymore on Tuesday evenings from 8 p.m. at €1.50 each. A match-three prize of €200 is also up for grabs each week, Last week’s draw was not held due to inclement weather so tickets purchased for that draw will be included in the draw of Tuesday, March 6, Many thanks for your continued support.

WALKING TRACK

The new community walking track at St Fintan’s GAA grounds is now fully open and is fully accessible for all community members. The community is encouraged to make use of this wonderful facility. All users are kindly asked to stay off the grass as both pitches are extremely wet and not fit for heavy footfall.
