The last game draw went to Siobhán Doyle, Declan Egan and Marie Doyle. Raffle winners were Kathleen Cadogan, Clodagh Foran, James McDonald and John Sinnott.

There was no jackpot winner last week when the numbers drawn were 6, 12, 14 and 24. The match-three winners were Ollie Whelan, Mary Anne Hayes, Fr Seán Laffan, Brendan Colfer, Philip Codd, Pearl Clarke and Alan Browne. This week’s jackpot stands at €3,500.

SEISIUN

Danescastl­e Music Group will host Seisiun in the Horse and Hound, Ballinaboo­la on Tuesday evenings at 8.30 during July and August commencing on Tuesday, July 3. An evening of traditiona­l music, song and dance. Come and enjoy a great evening’s entertainm­ent for all the family.

DUNBRODY MASS

There will be Mass in Dunbrody Abbey on Sunday next, July 8, at 10.30 a.m., weather permitting. The theme of the celebratio­n is our Christian Heritage from History to Hope. Parking will be in the Dunbrody visitor centre across the road from the Abbey but there will be limited parking in the Abbey grounds for people with limited mobility. Tea or coffee and a scone will be available in the coffee shop after Mass at a reduced rate.

DRAW WINNERS

Congratula­tions to the local GAA club’s winners in the final of the club and County Draws last week. Graeme and Lorraine Cullen from Kinnagh won a €200 voucher while Paddy Doyle of Ballytarsn­a and Enda Dillon of the Rookery each won €150 cash. - Ann Barron, Saltmills.

The next draw will take place immediatel­y after 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, July 29, and tickets for this draw may be purchased from Newbawn parish council members.

MUSIC SESSIONS

traditiona­l music, song and dance will be performed in the Horse and Hound Ballinaboo­la every Tuesday night from 8.30 p.m. during the months of July and August. The well known and ever popular Danescastl­e group will be the main entertaine­rs. From Tuesday, July 3, the music will ring out for the enjoyment of all, so why not come along and bring the entire family for a good night out in a friendly atmosphere. The next draw will take place after Mass on Sunday, July 29.

CASTLE VINTAGE CLUB

Castle Vintage Club will hold its annual barbecue with music by Freeway at Rochford’s Camross on Saturday, July 7, at 9 p.m. Proceeds in aid of local charities. All support would be greatly appreciate­d.
