ALDI OPENING SOON

Aldi’s new superstore is progressin­g fast and is to open Officially on Thursday, November 29, in time for the Christmas rush. And Well Lane has its resurface completed as part of the Aldi project.

SCOUT GROUP NEWS

The local Scout Group would like to thank Lord Mayor, Peter Cleere for his invitation to the Mayors Parlor in Kilkenny for a civic reception Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and leaders traveled to Kilkenny and had a most enjoyable evening.

The Lord Mayor told them about the history of the building, The Tholsel on High Street was built in 1761 by Alderman William Colles as a place for collecting tools.

CHRISTMAS MARKET

A Christmas Market will be held in Abbey Hall on Saturdays from November November 17 for four weeks, Loads of handcrafte­d Christmas gifts decoration­s, art and crafts, Baked food and preserves.
