DEATH

Deepest sympathy to the Walsh family Grange on the sad Passing of Johnny Walsh last Monday. Johnny is survived by his brothers.

Dave, Peter, Matt, Paddy, and Nicky his sister Ann and the late Nellie and Bobby. Sadly missed by his loving family sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace. He Reposed in Ryan’s funeral home Wellington­bridge on Tuesday, November 13, from 2 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of Mary Immaculate and St Joseph Carrig-on-Bannow. Funeral Mass was on Wednesday the 14th at 11 a.m., with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

SAD PASSING

Deepest sympathy to Deirdre Corcoran and family on the death of her mother Netta O’Brien in hospital last Wednesday. Netta was 89 years old and is survived by her daughters Noelle, Bernadette, Deirdre and sons Kieran and Tomas. Sadly missed by her loving family and friends. She was waked at her home in Baldwinsto­wn on Friday, November 16, from 1 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of the Assumption, Rathangan. Funeral Mass was on Saturday at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in Rathangan Cemetery. May she rest in peace.

BALLYMITTY HALL

The Sunday Cafe will take place on Sunday, November 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come along for a chat and a catchup with the neighbours and sample some tasty bites.
