Students create mural inspired by artistic greats
SOME OF the world’s great artists and writers inspired Our Lady of Lourdes students to create a wonderful mural in the school.
Featuring quotes from artists and writers like Jonathan Swift, whose line ‘Vision is the Art of seeing what is invisible to others’ features on the colourful mural painted by 5th Year students under the direction of Art teacher Carmel Walsh.
The students thoroughly enjoyed working on the project during the year and Principal Toni Ormond commended them on brightening up the Art Room section of the school.
