House projects to be completed this year
A number of housing developments in Wexford are due to be completed over the coming year.
Ten houses currently under construction in Danescastle are due to be completed by July while a further seven units, located in Coolcots, are due to be finished by September.
In the Slippery Green area of Wexford town work on developing 10 housing units began in April last year and they are expected to be completed by this coming April.
Work on a special needs house in the Castlemoyle area of New Ross has just begun while costs have been reduced in relation to a stage 3 approved house in Ballinaboola.
A Stage 3 approved tender was also given in December with regard to 18 houses in Taghmon while fire safety certs and disability access certs are being worked on in relation to 44 housing units at Whiterock Hill, Wexford.
A Part VIII application as part of the overall planning application for that development was lodged in September.
The local authority is also preparing feasibility studies prior to Stage 1 applications relating to a further 88 units across the county including: Daphe View, Enniscorthy (24); Castlemoyle, New Ross (40); Marconi Park, Enniscorthy (1), and Wexford Street, Gorey (20).
