OVER-35S SOCCER

16 players were on display in Grantstown on Saturday, January 26, with a good competative game taking place with no dirty tackles, I wonder why, taking place apart from the few dives here and there causing a slight difference of opinion – how boring would it be if nothing happened at all, sure we might as well stay at home. Again, the older guys took the honours by a goal or two – whose counting, a win is a win.

Games take place on Saturday evenings, generally at 6 p.m., unless Rugby gets in the way, which cause the occasional time shift. The games are held indoor in Grantstown and newcomers are welcome. Please try to be there 15 minutes beforehand so we can kick off in the allotted time. If you’d like to come along or want further information, please give Dave Burke a shout by text or calling 086 8596627.
