Failure to wear safety belt in car

A €100 fine was imposed on 43-year-old motorist Bridget Connors of 4 The Ballagh, Clonroche for failure to wear her safety belt while on the road at Ferndale in Wexford.

The District Court heard how the offence came to light on the afternoon of May 20 last, a Sunday.

It was also revealed by the prosecuting garda that Ms Connors had a previous conviction for a similar offence.
