Rosslare woman winstop classoven

SANDRA Smyth, a customer at Boggan’s Londis supermarket in Rosslare will be cooking up a storm after becoming one of the lucky winners of a nationwide competition organised by Londis and Whirlpool.

The competition was run in conjunction with the Londis-sponsored RTE One programme Tastes Like Home which was presented by chef Catherine Fulvio. The programme was broadcast during November and December.

It offered Londis customers the chance to win a state-of-theart oven and combi set from Whirlpool.

Sandra, a resident of Rosslare Strand, and her 15-monthold son Eoin met with Val and Paul Boggan of Boggan’s Londis Rosslare recently to collect a voucher for the oven and combi set.

Conor Hayes, Londis Sales Director, said: ‘ The Irish are no strangers to the emotional relationship between food and family, and it’s this local connection that inspires our commitment to the sponsorship of the show year on year.’

Sandra was one of five lucky winners nationally.
