NORMALLY January is a quite month for house sales, land and sites. This year so far we have seen a considerable increase in enquiries and viewings, with a number of sales concluded in both Wexford and Enniscorthy during the month of January

The opening of the new Ring Road from Gorey to Oylegate has brought considerable attention to the housing market in Enniscorthy and surrounding areas and it is noticeable that a number of customers based in the Dublin commuter belt have extended their interest as far as Enniscorthy and the Enniscorthy District.

According to myhome.ie Reported Analysis, the average asking price for a 3 bed semi-detached house for the first quarter of 2018 was €169k and it is estimated that these house prices may have risen by at least €20k since then.

PropertyTeam M.A. O’Leary has found that much of the demand in County Wexford appears to come from First Time Buyers using a mortgage from the bank or the County Council loan scheme.
