Motoring offences
A number of motoring offences attracted fines on conviction at the District Court sitting in Wexford on Tuesday, May 19, with Judge Brian O’Shea presiding.
John Murphy of 2 Raheen, New Ross, was summonsed for failure to wear a safety belt while he was a passenger in a Laois registered Ford Transit at North Quay fine €120.
Richard O’Brien, Kilbraney, Newbawn, had no belt in place, also at North Quay, as he drove a Hyundai Santa Fé fine €120.
Learner permit holder Ann Kelly (25), 3 Raheen, New Ross, had no qualified driver with her when stopped driving a Nissan Micra at North Quay on October 7 fine €100.
Laurence Connors (32), The Bath Store, Ballywilliam, was found without his seat belt in place while piloting a red Renault van near his home on October 7 fine €120.
