Due to the potential threat posed by the COVID 19 virus, it has been decided in the interest of the general public, to cancel ALL Masses in Duncannon and the surrounding area, till further notice.

WRITING COMPETITION
Write By the Sea Literary Festival 2020, Kilmore Quay, invites all budding and established writers to enter its Writing Competition in any or all of three categories: Short Story, Memoir and Poetry. Entries should reflect the theme ‘Waves’.
Category winners will receive €250 and the overall winner will receive €500. Winners will be invited to read at the Festival Opening on September 25 and the winning entries will be published on the festival website. A perfect reason to get the creative juices flowing during these restrictive times.

ST. JAMES’ GAA
On behalf of the club we wish to thank all are volunteers who have been delivering groceries to those in need in our parish for the past few months. They have being doing commendable work all across our community during these unusual times and without their contribution many of our community would have struggles. We can not thank you all enough.
We would also like to say congratulations to all members of our club who recently had their sixth year graduations and wish them all the best in the future.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Because of the coronavirus, we have had to postpone all meetings for a while, and all our Day-Trips and our holiday have also been put on hold. It is all about keeping safe and looking out for each other. We will continue to text members to keep you informed.
