Loftus Halltalk

Join writer and historian Helena B. Scott in New Ross Library on Tuesday, April 9, at 7 p.m. to discover the untold story that lies beneath the surface of Ireland’s most haunted houses, Loftus Hall.

Allow the Hook Peninsula to share its wisdom, showcasing its dualistic nature, reflected in the Hermetic principle often associated with the Knights Templar.

Loftus Hall, in Co. Wexford’s Hook Peninsula is popularly known as Ireland’s most haunted house due to a centuries’ old tale involving the devil, a game of cards, and the young Lady Anne Tottenham who died of a broken heart.

Like many historic haunted sites, the Hall has an ancient story to tell. The Hall’s story is also linked to the Knights Templar unjustly arrested at dawn on Friday the 13th, 1307 as well as Freemasonry and the Western Esoteric Tradition.

Booking is essential as places are limited.
