Racing Ahead

BEN’S BEST BETS

-

PALMERS HILL - Cruised to victory on racecourse debut over a trip that will turn out to be on the short side for him. He looks a novice to follow and should be a big player next time out even if stepped up in grade.

WHISKY IN THE JAR - A novice I am looking forward to this year trained by Dan Skelton. Looked classy in his bumper and should be good enough to win first time out perhaps over 2m 4f. CUT THE CORNER - Alastair Ralph’s horse just jumped to the front at Ludlow when he clattered the third last. He remains unexposed over 3m and can make amends possibly back at that course in the near future. His trainer’s low profile might mean he goes off at a price.
