It’s set to be a very bleak Christmas for Sally when she learns that her sis­ter, Gina has slept with her hus­band, Tim. Guilty Tim is con­cerned when he re­ceives a vis­it­ing or­der from Sally, and Eileen urges him to go through with it. As he sets o , Faye tells him that she knows he slept with Gina. Sally is dev­as­tated when Tim doesn’t show up for the visit. Back on the Street, Faye is un­per­turbed by the Gina and Tim sit­u­a­tion but So­phie is dis­gusted. Tim vis­its Sally on Christmas Day and drops the bomb­shell.

Else­where, Jenny can’t shake o the feel­ing that Johnny might be hold­ing a torch for Liz, and she hits the bot­tle when she learns that Liz has can­celled a hol­i­day to be around for Christmas. Mean­while, Gemma gets in her head that Johnny is be­ing abu­sive to­wards Jenny.

It’s not a case of once bit­ten, twice shy for Au­drey. She has been taken in by de­spi­ca­ble Lewis once again and he runs rings round her. She is in­con­solable when she sus­pects that he has stolen her in­her­i­tance. Gail and David start to worry about Au­drey’s men­tal state.

Mary’s pri­vate eye tells her that he has tracked her son, Jude, to Black­pool and she ropes Roy into help­ing her re­trieve him. When she nds him, he tells her he owes the B&B £500. Fool­ish Mary heads o to get the money and Jude tells his new girl­friend - who believes he is a sur­geon - that Mary is one of his pa­tients.
