Have a sweet time this autumn
Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean the Boyne Valley Food Series is. Right up to December, there are 14 food-filled experiences to enjoy in the Boyne Valley. September has The Royal Meath Show, Taste of Togher, Strawfest and the Boyne Valley Food Fest. All will have plenty of seasonal, local food along with demonstrations, live music and family GIY-ers also get a chance to share their harvest at Sheridan’s Harvest Day, an informal gathering of amateur growers.
In October, cider lovers will enjoy the Apple Harvest Walk at the Cooney family orchards and there’s an Oktoberfest in Navan and a Gin School Experience at the Listoke Distillery in Tinure. The October bank holiday weekend will see the inaugural BRÚ Trim Traditional & Celtic Rock Festival, showcasing some of the country’s best musicians alongside lots of local food and taste trails.
