The National Ploughing Championships have grown to become one of Europe’s biggest outdoor events.

This recent documentary looked at the dynamic Anna May Mchugh – the managing director of the National Ploughing Association and a driving force of the event for decades.

It followed her over four extremely busy months through the build-up to the staging of the 2018 version of ‘The Ploughing’ in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
