Phil Lynott: Scéalta Ón Old town

It certainly doesn’t feel as though it has been 32 years since we lost one of the most important modern voices in Irish music, but it says a lot about Phil Lynott’s legacy that it has lived on so vibrantly over the last three decades.

This special looks back on one of the former Thin Lizzy frontman’s most iconic songs, Old Town, which he released as a solo act back in 1982.

We hear from those who were involved in filming the promo video, shot exclusively for RTÉ, which features Dublin’s iconic landmarks, including the Ha’penny Bridge.
