Yuleyard at Eatyard

Dublin’s popular street food space Eatyard on South Richmond Street is switching on its festive Yule incarnatio­n on November 22. The Bodytonic crew are creating what they describe as “a haven of heated and covered outdoor hygge.” Running from Thursday to Sunday with a pop-up craft and farmers’ market on Saturday and Sunday, expect a smorgasbor­d of festive food. Meltdown brings their glorious grilled cheese menu to Yuleyard along with a very special limited edition cheese fondue (pre-book only). Lucky Tortoise dim sum will be serving up baskets of steamed Asian delights including some Christmas specials. Traditiona­l bratwurst using Irish free-range pork will be brought by Flamin’ Marvellous and Christmas confection­s with an Italian twist will come from Sweet Noni – panettone, gingerbrea­d men and Christmas cake pops.

Drinks include Carlsberg’s new unfiltered pilsner and some festive cocktails from The Schweppes Alchemy bar, while the Baileys Treat Bar offers indulgent cocktails, hot chocolates and other mouth-watering treats. There’ll also be mulled cider and wine, hot whiskey and port featuring homemade spiced syrups. Entertainm­ent includes Caravan Karaoke, featuring a playlist of Christmas favourites (the booking fee goes to t he Simon Community). The Eatyard Stage will host food and drink talks, tastings and demos, Christmas crafting and live music.
