Dangerous days for Daz

-

Desperate Daz is feeling guilty as Dan and Kerry fuss around Amelia. He is consumed with trying to leave the village and secretly looks at flights. He almost makes his escape, but spots Kerry in a heap on the road. Daz knows he can’t let her lie there so he takes her home, knowing that his plan has been derailed. Later, when Dan takes Kerry to the doctor, Amelia catches Daz trying to leave again and demands to know what is going on. Kerry consoles Amelia, ensuring her that the police will find out exactly what happened, leaving Daz feeling even more hopeless. Will he give himself up? Doug tells Rhona that someone has been using the shed for shelter and Rhona feels bad, having a good idea of who it might be. Elsewhere, Pete searches high and low for Dawn and finds her soliciting at a carpark in town. He intervenes and tells her that he is bringing her back to the village where she can lay low for a while but she misinterprets his kindness and tries to kiss him. Pete is shocked and as he tries to get his head around what has happened, Dawn cruelly threatens to tell Rhona that he tried it on with her unless he lets her stay. A furious Rhona confronts Dawn but she shoves her out of the way and makes to leave. Pete chases after her and Harriet becomes aware of the commotion. She freezes when she recognises Dawn. Just what is their connection? In the Woolpack, Cain, Moira and Marlon are aghast to see Rhona with a bruised face – Rhona hopes that Dawn has left for good. However, Dawn isn’t going anywhere and she makes a beeline for Harriet. She is surprised to see that she is now a vicar and Harriet is shaken to be confronted by a blast from her past.

Jessie finds herself in a sticky spot when Noah is excluded from school. Marlon steps in to speak on Noah’s behalf but Jessie insists that he shouldn’t get involved. It’s not long before Jessie and Charity have a showdown and Marlon unwittingly steps in, only to be dealt a blow by his fuming cousin. Later, Jessie and Ellis have a heart to heart about Marlon and Jessie realises he is the man for her. The pair plots the best way to get him down the aisle but they quickly change the subject when Marlon walks in on them. Also, Charity is thrilled when Vanessa agrees to move into the Woolpack, and Debbie makes preparations for Sarah coming home as the court case looms. Could she be kissing goodbye to her freedom soon?
