Alonely Mairead feels further isolated when Will is blasé about seeing her new home. She is envious of his relationsh­ip with Cristiano and yearns for the same sort of companions­hip. Meanwhile, Cristiano tells Will that Mairead needs to stop depending so much on him. Laura, who feels for Mairead, suggests that Damien ask her out but he tells her it’s not the right time. Nonetheles­s, Mairead lets Damien help her when Will lets her down and she tries to make amends with Cristiano, inviting him and Will to dinner with Phoebe. When Mairead’s uncle dies, Damien feels frozen out by Mairead and Will and Cristiano is jealous when he discovers that Will and Mairead will be staying together for the funeral. A disgruntle­d Cristiano admonishes Will and tells him that trust must be earned.

Wayne is disturbed as the desperate Orla and Tommy make up their family history for the clinic. He tells the pair that he’s going to go along to the clinic. Tommy is shocked when Dearbhla rocks up there too. She is horrified when Tommy tells her that he plans to keep the fact that he is Junior’s genetic father under wraps. However, Dearbhla urges him to be part of Junior’s life.

Meanwhile, Dolores encourages Wayne to do whatever it takes to avoid stressing out Orla, but it’s an uncomforta­ble situation with Wayne playing the role of Tommy’s concerned friend in the doctor’s office. Dearbhla continues to cause problems for Tommy and Orla, sending Junior a book with a weighted inscriptio­n.

Oisin and Callum discourage Paul from going back to work but Charlotte thinks he needs to re-engage with the world. Oisin and Callum tell Charlotte that they don’t want Paul to return to Vinos. Paul rejects Oisin’s plan for a Vinos loyalty card and informs them that he’ll be using the restaurant as collateral for a bank loan.

Bob takes control when Heather complains that Renee is calling Farrah too much. Heather announces that she misses Brendan and that Ellie needs to make a decision about where to live. Renee encourages Heather to talk to Ellie but it’s clear there is a big divide between the pair. Heather feels guilty when Ellie tells her she has no friends in Brazil as she’s scared of Heather embarrassi­ng her. Renee talks to Ellie about sticking around in Carrigstow­n without Heather and Bob convinces Alex to look out for her. However, Ellie is affronted when she learns of Bob’s meddling. Will she stay or will she go?
