Marlon is gutted when April announces that she won’t be attending the official wedding and there’s further drama when he and Jessie are unable to find a second witness. Eventually, as the ceremony gets underway, they are interrupted by a blast from the past – Mandy Dingle. Paddy feels awkward as Mandy takes her spot as the second witness. Elsewhere, an emotional Chas is trying to find Paddy and it’s handbags at dawn when she comes face to face with Paddy’s old flame Mandy. Later, Mandy finds out about Paddy’s recent baby loss and she wonders if she can tell him that he’s the real reason she has returned to the village.
Belle is shaken when a package of dead flowers arrives for her, but everyone tries to explain it away. She is convinced that her deranged ex, Lachlan, is behind the plan to spook her. Later, Lydia receives a call from Sam and when they arrive at the Dingles, they’re shocked to find him covered in blood and Gloria the pig has been slain. Belle goes to see Lachlan with Sam and Lachlan does his best impression of someone who has changed their ways. However, when they leave, he takes out a secret phone and makes a call, instructing someone to intensify their efforts. Vanessa is perturbed to see a hooded figure splashing petrol around the bins at the pub. She confronts the troublemaker but she is stabbed and left fighting for her life as the criminal steals her car to flee.
