Orla, Wayne and Tommy’s complex relationship continues to flounder as Orla heads to her first IVF treatment. Viewers will remember that Tommy and Orla are having another baby together in order to have a bone marrow donor for their son, Junior, which Wayne reluctantly agreed to. Tommy has a few more bombshells in store for Wayne when he demands access to both Junior and the IVF baby when it is born. Wayne is understandably against this, and warns Tommy to keep away. Tommy isn’t one for backing down, however, and seeks legal advice. This spooks Wayne, and when Tommy can’t get an answer from him, he goes straight to Orla instead. Orla lays into Wayne and Tommy, and they both agree to put their feud aside and focus on the IVF treatment. Later, Wayne meets with solicitor Killian again, much to Orla’s annoyance. She insists that she’ll administer her injections herself, but this distracts her from Junior, who has an accident. She feels guilty, and Dearbhla doesn’t help matters when she asks why Orla isn’t spending time with Junior. The stress causes her to forget her injection, but Breda reassures Orla that one missed injection won’t have a negative effect. Meanwhile, Killian tells Wayne to put a pin in the adoption process for now, but Tommy is suspicious when he sees the two of them together. Wayne and Orla present a united front when an anxious Junior is prepped for surgery. Tommy arrives, but only Wayne and Orla are allowed to see Junior. Later, Tommy makes Wayne uncomfortable when he insists that he will stay in the hospital with him. What game is Tommy playing, and will the trio be able to sort out their differences? Elsewhere, Doug and Ray are at loggerheads when Ray has trouble with the new computer system, but doesn’t want to admit it for fear of appearing incompetent. Doug tries his best to get Ray on board with the new system, but it’s clear Ray’s struggling. Matters are made worse when Ray’s error puts Carol out, and he worries that he’ll be sacked. Luckily, he proves his worth when he fixes one of the cars and he eventually accepts help from Doug. There’s more conflict as Mairead grows frustrated with Renee’s work ethic. She enlists Damien’s help to move boxes, but feels guilty when he injures himself and loses work as a result. She blames Renee for Damien’s injury, but could this reignite the spark between Mairead and Damien?
