Baying for Billy’s blood

-

Ellis is relentlessly goading Billy. The verbal abuse proves too much and Billy takes a swing at Ellis, forcing Marlon to kick him out of Tall Trees. Ellis feels a pang of guilt, but a manipulative Robert is quick to convince him to get rid of Billy. Ellis is strung along by Robert and calls the police, who arrest Billy for assault. Jessie, however, is not happy. The police ask her for a statement, she considers lying to protect Billy, which could jeopardise her relationship with Ellis.

The coppers have had their hands full in the village these past few weeks, and Daz is determined to stay out of their way. He’s managed to land a job in Croydon, but isn’t looking forward to telling Amelia. He eventually plucks up the courage, telling her that the only reason he’s leaving is because Kerry has threatened to call the authorities if he doesn’t leave.

Amelia decides to go with Daz, and Kerry is angry when Dan agrees. Dan has a plan up his sleeve, however, and hopes Amelia’s contrary nature will mean she will want to stay. Kerry isn’t on board, and a rift forms between the couple.

Meanwhile, Robert and Nicola aren’t as clever as they think as Graham knows all about their scam. Acting unaware, he goes along with the scheme while secretly plotting his revenge. Nicola eventually cottons on and worries what Graham will do next, while Robert reassures Aaron that they’ll have enough money for surrogacy. What has Graham got in store for the fraudsters?
