What’s in a name?

The whole village turns up as Hollyoaks High prepares to host a fundraiser. All the residents are excited and much effort has been put into their costumes, as they dress up as inspirational and iconic people from throughout history. Sienna is planning a big speech for the event, but her mind is elsewhere. She’s still thinking about her kiss with Laurie, and isn’t best-pleased that he made moves on her. She goes to confront him about it, but she’s surprised when he insists that she is the one who tried to kiss him. Sienna vehemently disagrees, and threatens to go to Sally about what happened. Last week, Laurie and Sinead had a dispute when she thought he was sleeping with Sienna, but she has since put her worries to the back of her mind and is preparing her costume for the fundraiser. She’s trying to come up with a new idea after Laurie was critical of her super-heroine idea.

Ste comes round to help Sinead prepare, but he clearly senses that something is going on between her and Laurie. She tells Ste that she is considering changing Hannah’s surname to Shelby, but he’s against the idea as he doesn’t think she and Laurie are going to be together for much longer. Later, Laurie and Sinead have an intimate moment and share a kiss. However, something is clearly wrong. Laurie forces himself on her, making her feel uncomfortable. He gets a bit too rough and hurts her wrist, and she has to take painkillers to numb the pain. She wonders if he purposefully hurt her, but when she confronts him, he acts shocked. Is he being genuine, or is he up to something sinister? Elsewhere, a nervous Misbah has a meeting to decide whether or not she is fit to return to practising medicine. It goes well and she returns to work, but Ste is angry when he finds out. When Misbah and Farrah come across a picture online accusing Misbah of being an unfit doctor and of having killed Tegan, they are quick to accuse Ste.

There’s drama as the fundraiser gets under way and things don’t go smoothly. In an effort to get Tom and Harley to see eye to eye, Peri locks them up, and the pair have a heart-to-heart chat. Meanwhile, Sally puts all her hopes on Liberty to save the night. She gets up on stage, but the pressure proves too much and she gets stage fright.
