Seachtain na Gaeilge on RTÉ Jr
This year’s Seachtain na Gaeilge runs from March 1 to 7 and RTÉjr is jumping on board with a slate of Irish language shows throughout the week. Fans of The Day Henry Met... animation series, now in its third season, the first outing as Gaeilge An Lá Ar Bhuail Henry Le... starts during SnaG, with Henry played by Ruadhán Casey. Popular puppet series Mr. Mender & The Chummyjiggers is also getting a first screening in Irish as An tUasal Mender Agus Na Chummyjiggers, with 26 Irish language episodes with narrator Páidí Ó Lionáird. The beautiful animated zoo adventure series Peek Zoo gets the full Irish language treatment too – join zookeeper Mr. Peek (Marcus Lamb) and his children, Jimmy (Ruadhán Ó Coisdealbha) and Violet (Eimear Nic Dhonnchadha), as they care for the animals of Peek Zoo.
There will also be another chance to see Irish versions of Nelly And Nora, Punky, Lifeboat Luke, Fluffy Gardens, Lily’s Driftwood Bay and Tell Me A Story.
