A taste of the Middle East

- Ballyknocken House and Cookery School, www.ballyknocken.ie

Highly fashionable, it’s easy to see why Middle Eastern food is so popular. The flavours are quite exotic and yet crowd pleasing. The wonderful blend of spices and fresh ingredients make this cuisine so appealing, enriched by the best natural yoghurt, dates, aubergines, pomegranates, dried sour cherries and tahini. Dishes like hummus, falafels, baba ghannoush are easy to make and are a great addition to our regular daily cooking.
