Dublin is all about music next month, as MusicTown returns with a 16-day programme of concerts, masterclasses, collaborations and workshops from April 5 to 21 with a special children’s programme, MusicTown Jr from April 5 to 12. Brought to you by Dublin City Council and Aiken Promotions, MusicTown will see artists from across the musical spectrum gather in Dublin to collaborate and create unforgettable moments. To celebrate, we have a great prize for two lucky readers: two pairs of tickets to a special evening of collaborations with Damien Dempsey and guests at Vicar Street, to mark his recent album Union, and tickets to the ever intriguing Blindboy podcast, also live at Vicar Street.

On Friday, April 12, Damien Dempsey and special guests will perform tracks from his stand-out new album Union as well as classics from his much loved catalogue.

Union is a collection of 14 songs, with seven new tracks plus re-imagined classic tracks featuring collaborations with three generations of Damien’s favourite vocalists.

Join Blindboy and his musician guests at Vicar Street for an intimate, live podcast on Sunday, April 7. Outspoken, informed and empathetic, Blindboy engages his audience with an unusual touch of realism.
