The silk route

- with Jess O Sullivan

Irish designer Geraldine Leonard has a gift for turning textiles into mini works of art that represent the natural beauty she finds around her home in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow. She turns earthy bogs, sunset skies, fields of heather and wildflowers, and the waves of the Irish Sea into abstract pieces using cashmere, mohair and silk. There are three different size options, starting from as little as €25 for a 100% silk print, and you can also order the print in a solid wood frame, locally sourced. Soon Leonard will be adding a luxe new cushion collection to the mix featuring her stunning designs. See the full collection at geraldineleonard.com.
