Keeping Dolores in the dark

-

Orla and Wayne are forced to deflect Dolores’ attention and stall for time as a suspicious Dolores asks questions about the surrogate. She’s not the only one who wants answers, as Wayne is hounded by questions from all sides.

Unfortunately for Wayne and Orla, that’s not the only thing bothering them as they have to keep a bickering Tommy and Decco happy. It’s not long before their anger spills over and there is an incident at the garage, which almost causes Decco and Tommy to exchange blows. The added stress is the last thing that Wayne needs as he and Orla wonder how long they can keep their lie going.

Fortunately, things start to look up as Sash sends Wayne and Orla some muchneeded good news about the surrogacy. Tommy and Decco make up as well, but Orla and Wayne are forced to lie yet again to cover up their excitement. However, Wayne feels guilty about not telling Dolores and shares the good news with her as well. However, as Wayne worries about deceiving everyone, Orla is quick to tell him that they need to stick to the plan.

Meanwhile, in the fallout of Heather’s incident last week, her family grow concerned for her well-being. Bob is keen for her to seek professional help, but Renee wants to treat Heather her own way and keep her close. This soon proves to be less than ideal as Renee and Heather clash, and Renee gives in to Hughie’s plan for alternative living arrangements.

Heather seems to be making progress and is delighted when Jackie allows her to work at The Pod, and the pair bond. Later, Heather isn’t happy when Jackie reprimands her, but Hughie has a few kind words for her. The situation grows complicated as Heather grows too close to Hughie, and while he is pleased with her progress, he is at a loss about what to do when Heather has another incident.

Elsewhere, Laura is trying to drum up business, and Hayley comes up with an impressive PR strategy to help. However, during a photoshoot, the pair clash when Laure disapproves of Hayley’s methods. Instead, Laura decides to record an exercise video, and ropes Damien and Sharon in to help. Keen to play peacemaker, Sharon insists that they get Hayley involved as well to boost the video’s reach.
