( Emmerdale’s Megan Macey)

-

Megan Macey is dealing with the aftermath of the car accident (her fault) which put Pollard in hospital. She at rst refused to take the blame but has now made a full confession. However, the fallout of the crash could mean she goes to prison and loses custody of her daughter, Eliza, not to mention being the most-hated woman in the Dales at the moment.

How is Megan coping in the wake of her confession?

I think Megan is relieved it’s all at last out in the open, but of course she is very worried about the consequences.

How’s her relationship with Pollard?

At this point it is strained – I think mainly because he isn’t very happy that she didn’t come forward straight away.

How concerned is she about losing her daughter, Eliza?

Eliza is Megan’s number one priority, so the thought of going to prison is torturing her. I don’t think she can even contemplate how it would be, should she get sent down.

Does Eliza’s dad, Jai, really believe Megan is an unfit mother?

No, Jai knows she’s a great mother. Although he thinks she made a mistake and is now paying the price for it.

How supportive is Frank being?

At the moment Frank is a rock for Megan, which creates an even stronger bond between them.

Why is it Manpreet she breaks down in front of?

Manpreet is there for Megan at a very low point. When she sees how upset Megan is, she decides to support her. So it comes out of this that Megan breaks down and tells her everything.

Why does Graham want to pay for Megan’s legal fees?

Graham and Megan’s relationship

ended abruptly, but he knows she was there for him in his hour of need and I think he wants to repay the good deed.

What might it mean for her relationship with Frank?

Frank isn’t happy about Graham helping Megan, but realises it will help her to get a good solicitor and so he pretends he’s ok with it and quietly licks his wounds in e Woolpack! Poor Frank.

What do you reckon are the chances of him sticking by her?

Frank and Megan are very united right now.

Are you enjoying Megan and Jai crossing swords again?

It’s a brief sword fight… ey both just want the best for their daughter. ey do ultimately respect each other.

Does she have any friends le in the village?

She counts Leyla as a friend and weirdly enough Charity sticks up for Megan in the Woolpack.

How would you like everything to pan out for Megan?

Wherever the wind takes her: that is the great thing about soap – it’s always full of twists and turns.

Is this predicament set to change Megan forever?

She won’t text and drive again, that’s for sure! Hopefully other people having watched this won’t either. (See Soap Bubbles, right)
