Saturday June 15 The Voice Kids, Virgin Media One & UTV

McFly frontman Danny Jones, pop princess Pixie Lott and Voice veteran Will-i-am are joined by multi-platinum selling singer Jessie J as they continue the search for a singing star of the future. Both solo singers and double acts between the ages of seven and 14 will take to the stage hoping to get those infamous red chairs spinning.

Mary Elmes – Gairm chun Gním, TG4

The powerful story of an Irishwoman whose action-packed and courageous life was played out at the heart of the major European conflicts of the last century. Born in Cork city in 1908, Mary Elmes was never going to conform to what was expected of a woman of her generation.

Killing Eve, BBC One

Villanelle has made it to England but, unable to use a hospital to get her wound seen to, she’s reliant on the kindness of strangers – and cons an unassuming man into letting her recuperate at his house. Meanwhile Eve, having been taken back under Carolyn’s wing, meets her new team and has to tell them everything she’s learned about Villanelle, well, nearly everything.

Sunday June 16 The Zoo, RTÉ One

A heatwave brings some of the hottest temperatur­es on record in Ireland and a unique set of challenges for the zookeepers and the animals in their care. Zookeepers Aisling and Ger give some newly hatched ducklings a helping hand; Anita makes up some ice-pops for the primates and tigers and elephant calves to cool down in a huge mud bath.

Tonight sees Hairy Biker Dave Myers and his family do battle with Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd and his family. Which family can secondgues­s the public and go on to play for up to £30,000 in the Big Money final? Hosted by Vernon Kay.

Great Canal Journeys: Asian Odyssey, Channel 4

Husband and wife team. Timothy West and Prunella Scales explore Vietnam’s Mekong Delta before crossing the border into Cambodia. Bound for the capital city of Phnom Penh, they end their adventure at Angkor Wat, a temple built using canals.

Monday June 17 Wild Bill, Virgin Media One

New crime drama starring Rob Lowe. High-flying US cop Bill Hixon arrives in Boston to shake up the East Lincolnshi­re Constabula­ry, but when the coldest of cold cases turns up, it’s Bill who finds himself shaken.

Punjab United – Our Lives, BBC One

Punjab United is a small team with big dreams. But can manager and local businessma­n Chipie steer them to success? Football may be a matter of life and death to some, but for nonleague side Punjab United it’s far more important than that.

Dispatches, Channel 4

Dispatches exposes an extraordin­ary story of how, in 2014, millions of pounds worth of vital medicines were stolen from Italian hospitals by criminal gangs. It details how the criminal underworld set up a network of bogus drug wholesaler­s in Eastern Europe and used the secretive grey market of prescripti­on medicine trading to sell their stolen drugs into the NHS supply chain.

Tuesday June 18 Blue Bloods, RTÉ 2

Things get personal for Danny when Luis Delgado, the drug cartel hitman responsibl­e for torching his house, resurfaces. Also, an attack on an officer in the line of duty directly impacts a member of Frank’s team; Eddie reluctantl­y introduces Jamie to her mother, Lena; and Erin deals with the consequenc­es of her new role as boss.

Saturn is the jewel of the solar system, the most seductive of all the planets. Born in the freezing outer reaches of the solar system, Saturn began life as a planet of rock and ice. It soon grew to dwarf the Earth, drawing in colossal amounts of the hydrogen and helium that permeated the early solar system.

The countdown of the top 10 favourite family dishes continues. Chef Phil Vickery is challenged to wow us with his own super healthy, low cost and of course mouth-watering version. Which delicious dish will claim number eight in the countdown this week and what will the Save Money family make of it?

Samuel wakes up in hospital, two days after being shot in the arm at the air eld. His family has been told that a soldier went berserk and has now been caught. Richard and Kathleen visit Samuel in the hospital, and he warns them not to discuss their search for Anthony on their home telephone as the secret service might be listening in.

The Supervet: Noel Fitzpatric­k, Channel 4

The vet returns with an extraordin­ary range of often traumatic injuries and conditions in this new series. Rebecca and Chris are devastated when their four-year-old dog, Barney, is hit by a bus, crushing an ankle and causing extensive damage to his leg. Noel fears the wound poses a serious infection risk.

The Edge of Democracy, Netflix

Exploring one of the most dramatic periods in Brazilian history. Combining unpreceden­ted access to leaders past and present, including Presidents Dilma Rousse and Lula da Silva, with accounts of her own family’s past, lmmaker Petra Costa witnesses their rise and fall and the polarised nation that remains.

Thursday June 20 The Handmaid’s Tale, RTÉ 2

June’s resistance to the brutal regime of Gilead continues. She negotiates a truce in the Waterfords’ fractured relationsh­ip. Janine oversteps with the Putnam family, and a still-healing Aunt Lydia o ers a brutal public punishment.

The Rookie, Sky Witness

The rookies are really put to the test when their training o cers accompany them out of uniform for Plain Clothes Day, which forces them to make all the decisions while on patrol. Meanwhile, O cer Nolan tries to prove he has been progressin­g faster than the other rookies to justify his desire of becoming a detective within ve years.

George Clarke’s Old House, New Home, Channel 4

George Clarke squeezes into an Edwardian cottage which is only half the size of a squash court. This house is home to nurse Hannah and her two children, but it’s so small Hannah has had to give the only decent-sized bedroom to the kids and is sleeping in the front room.

Friday June 21 The Graham Norton Show, BBC One

Together on Graham’s sofa tonight: Tom Hanks, voicing Woody the Cowboy once more in Toy Story 4; Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow, promoting the In Goop Health summit; and from SpiderMan: Far From Home, stars Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal. With music from rap star Stormzy.

Cam is nally getting a chance to shine when he is asked to preside over the high-school graduation ceremony at the last minute, while Jay gives the commenceme­nt address. Meanwhile, Claire runs into her former high school rival who brings out the worst in her.

The Last Leg, Channel 4

Hosts Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker with satirical comedy as the UK continues the journey towards Brexit. The hashtag #isitok generates a wry look at the week’s most entertaini­ng news stories and this week Sandi Toksvig joins them to dissect events and talking points.
