Max runs Billy through his plan to rob a van. Max gives Billy and Woody the go ahead via text, but they’re stopped by the police, who were tipped off by Billy. However, Billy is angry when DS Sanders can’t guarantee that Max won’t find out what Billy did.

Max is out for blood and waits upstairs at Tall Trees, taking Jessie, April and Marlon hostage. He forces Jessie to call Billy, who then rushes off to save them with Ellis in tow. However, when they arrive, Max points a gun straight at Billy. A desperate struggle ensues and the gun fires, leaving someone fighting for their life. Meanwhile, it’s a big day for Dawn as she goes to meet Lucas with the social worker. However, Lucas ignores her and she leaves humiliated, despite reassuranc­es from the social worker.

Elsewhere, Rishi interrupts Laurel and Jai’s kiss, and they’re glad to have avoided the close call. Rishi hasn’t finished unknowingl­y interferin­g with their plans when he asks Jai to cover for Billy. Jai’s had enough and sends the workers out so he and Laurel can have some alone time.

Dawn heads back to the factory, where she finds Laurel and Jai in an embrace. Laurel is forced to come clean that Harriet was never with Jai, and the pair worries that Dawn might find out about their relationsh­ip. Dawn heads to Woodbine, where Harriet has invited Will inside, and she accuses Harriet of sleeping with him.

Plus, there is a guest appearance from Chris Kamra, who is managing a football team taking on the village’s own.
