Lee’s money concerns continue, as he convinces Darragh that they shouldn’t come clean about the loan. Things get tense when he gets a visit from loan shark Aidan, and the pressure mounts for both Darragh and Lee, who begin to blame each other for their current situation. Darragh goes to Carol about the issue, and despite Lee’s initial refusal, she wants to make him a deal and keeps the pressure on.

Deals go back and forth between them, and although Lee makes it clear that it’s Aidan who is the priority, not Carol, Darragh is left feeling frustrated. Carol finally manages to strike up a deal with Lee, but that’s not the end of it – he’s worried this will leave him short for paying Aidan back.

Things get violent later in the week when Lee falls behind in the payments, and Aidan’s thug makes him suffer. Hayley doesn’t buy Lee’s explanation for his injury, which results in her
