– all of which is still available on the player – gave a voice to just some of the thousands of women who emigrated in the 30 years after the Second World War and a chance to talk about their journey.
In this particular edition, they described how the British hardened towards the Irish after acts of terrorism, acknowledged the education opportunities they got and touched on the importance of the Irish Centre in Britain, among other topics.
