Ellen Cranitch presents this evening’s feature, which focuses on the music of the Edges of Light show, a presentation that took the concept of the Summer Time Act in October 1916 – when Ireland lost 24 minutes in order to sync up with Great Britain’s time-keeping – and used it to play with the idea of time in music, culture and in life.

Today’s show hears the opinions of those in opposition to the Summer Time Act as well as reflections by the musicians involved on a variety of issues including the passing of time and creativity.
