A mother’s love
Sash is worried about baby Olivia’s health, but Laura is there to be a reassuring voice of reason. However, Wayne offers to help out, which upsets Sash and has her concerned that he will take Olivia away from her. He tries to reassure her, but Orla sees red and steps in. Now Sash is paranoid that Dolores and Pete may know the truth, so she comes clean to Wayne and Orla. Pete insists that Tommy should also know, which adds an extra layer of stress to Wayne and Orla. Upon finding out, a furious Tommy confronts Sash, sending him on the warpath as Dolores makes peace with Wayne and Orla.
Later, Sash panics and plans to leave town and head to Spain with Olivia, but Laura catches her. Despite her concerns, she lets her go, leaving Dolores, Pete and Tommy in shock. Tommy is desperate to get Sash back, but his attempts to find a lead fall flat. However, Tommy and Pete get a surprise when they find Sash and Olivia at the Halpins’, leading to a heart-to-heart as Orla finally spends time with baby Olivia.
Elsewhere, Ray’s jealousy continues to boil, but Hughie is left perplexed when Ray offers his blessing. Nora is unimpressed and gives Ray a piece of her mind, but things take a turn when she loses her wedding ring. Ray finds it and refuses to take the credit, but it isn’t long before Nora finds out who found it, leading to a tender moment between them.
Meanwhile, Anto and Sharon butt heads when it comes to dealing with Hayley. Sharon confronts Ger, going as far as suggesting that he should leave Carrigstown. However, she isn’t ready for his response. Hayley finds out about Sharon’s involvement and is left fuming, leading to the pair drifting apart. Sharon wants Ger to give her and Hayley some space, but Ger has other plans. Anto has some advice when it comes to dealing with Ger, as Dolores offers Hayley some much-needed support, which gives Hayley the courage to ask a difficult question.
Also, Darragh feels isolated from his family as they deal with the Hayley situation. His mood isn’t helped when he finds out why Erica has been keeping her distance, leading to her coming clean in front of the Collins clan. Darragh is heartbroken, but he and Erica agree to talk. He wants a second chance, but will she be on the same page?
