No dry January for Linda
Linda’s week gets o to a bad start when she realises that she has forgotten Mick’s birthday. In a panic, she hastily arranges a surprise party for him but Shirley is less than impressed. As the party gets underway, Linda is tempted when Chantelle o ers her a drink. Mick is pleased when he sees her turn it down. However, he is later dismayed to nd Ollie le alone and realises Linda is back on the booze. Meanwhile, she drunkenly makes her way to e Prince Albert and runs into Sharon. e pair agree to put their di erences aside, but when the subject of Keanu comes up, Linda lets slip that he’s still alive.
Next day, Shirley and Tina have a serious talk with Mick about Linda’s situation. eir chat is cut short when they receive a call from Ollie’s school. ey are informed that a social worker has been contacted because it’s clear Ollie isn’t doing well. en, a drunk Linda reacts badly when Mick asks Chantelle to look a er Ollie. Meanwhile, Phil is relieved when Louise agrees to come to his birthday dinner. His joy is short-lived, however, when she snaps at him and Ben. Later, Sharon and Phil butt heads, and Sharon is clearly upset to see the Mitchell family celebrating without her. Lisa tells Phil that she is concerned about Louise’s behaviour and they’re moving to Portugal. Phil doesn’t react well to the news and refuses on the grounds that he doesn’t want to lose Louise. ere’s more drama in store for the Mitchells later in the week, as the past comes back to haunt them and Sharon gains the upper hand. Meanwhile, things are looking up for Kat following Leo’s attempts to ruin her business as Whitney sets up a meeting for her with a new client. She’s o ered the contract, but things quickly take a dark turn.
