Win tickets to Blue Raincoat Theatre Company’s Tintown with a stay at the four-star Glasshouse Hotel, Sligo

-

Blue Raincoat Theatre Company’s critically acclaimed production, Tintown, embarks on an eight-venue national tour from February 4 to 29.

Written and performed by actor Bob Kelly and directed by Niall Henry, Tintown is the story of a Dubliner who joined the IRA as a young man in the 1930s, was interned during World War II and bore witness to the IRA’s decline and eventual collapse within the Curragh Camp. Meticulously researched from internee interviews, this compelling, insightful story encompasses the development of socialism and fascism within Ireland and the political contradictions and absurdities of the time. Full tour details at blueraincoat.com

We are offering one lucky reader two tickets to see Tintown at The Factory Space on Wednesday, February 26, with an overnight stay for two adults in the four-star Glasshouse Hotel with breakfast the next morning.

The Glasshouse is Sligo’s only four-star city centre hotel. Towering dramatically over The Garavogue River, it offers the discerning traveller chic interiors, great city views and proximity to all that Sligo town has to offer. Shaped like a ship in dock, the hotel’s glass exterior can be seen from afar; while inside, the quirky interiors are equally as impressive.
