Curious about Carla
As Yasmeen’s plea hearing draws near, Alya pays her a visit and is shocked when Yasmeen opens up about some of the things that Geo put her through. Alya desperately tries to convince Yasmeen of the truth about the kind of man Geo is, but while waiting to enter a plea, Yasmeen calls her to explain that she is worried how Geo will react to a not-guilty plea. Alya is saddened to see the extent of Geo ’s control over Yasmeen. Meanwhile, Sally’s doubts about Geo continue to build and she tells Tim that she doesn’t want him staying with them anymore. Alya is pleased when Yasmeen summons up the courage to plead not guilty, but Geo is furious and tells Tim they need to put on a united front. However, Sally is can’t help thinking that Geo ’s story doesn’t seem to add up. Later, Eileen reveals that she is also not so sure about Geo ’s side of things, and Tim begins to have doubts of his own about his father’s protestations of innocence.
Gary engages in a bit of detective work to try to nd Kelly’s mum, while Adam quizzes Kelly directly. When Kelly explains that the only person in touch with Rick is Gary, Adam tells Imran, who’s shocked. Later, Gary tracks down Laura and promises her that he will make sure Rick keeps paying her living expenses as long as she welcomes Kelly back into the fold. When Gary realises that Laura and Kelly are moving into a at just around the corner, he’s concerned. Meanwhile, Adam is busy trying to get to know Laura better and can’t help but irt with her. ere’s a surprise in store in the Rovers when a mysterious young girl walks up to Sean and starts quizzing him about Carla. When Carla heads to the loo, the unexpected visitor follows her and makes it clear that she knows her. Who could she be?
