Chaos and crisis for Carla

Carla is adamant that she doesn’t know who Chelsey is, but Chelsey reminds her that they shared a squat together during Carla’s period of sleeping rough last year. Chelsey then reveals that she wants £1,000 from Carla or she will go to Peter and tell him everything Carla got up to during that dark time in her life. Later, Carla o ers to take her for breakfast. However, Chelsey isn’t nished with Carla and returns with a man called Jordan, who reveals that he ran their squat and insists she pay up for the drugs she destroyed.

When Peter walks in to nd Carla talking to Jordan, he wants to know what has been going on. Carla tells Peter what has been going on with Chelsey. When Jordan and Chelsey later turn up at the pub, Carla stands up to them, and Scott throws them out. Meanwhile, Peter hears a news report about two people being beaten up on a local estate and vows to stop Carla nding out.

Elsewhere, David feels optimistic when Roy explains that Shona has been assigned a support worker and will be discharged from the rehab centre and is to move in with him. David is thrilled and sets about helping to prepare for her arrival, but Roy is concerned that he may be getting his hopes up too high.

Adam feels it is time for Daniel to start getting out and about again, so he insists that he joins him at a swanky drinks event. Daniel is reluctant and feels uncomfortable, but he is intrigued by a female guest called Nicky, who does her best to put him at ease. Adam is pleased to see Daniel nally having a good time, and when Nicky suggests she and Daniel make a night of it, Daniel agrees.
