Elizabeth, recently bereaved and up to her eyes in debt, calls on her best friend, Jo, for help. And so, Jo leaves her life in the city, gets her daughter Lucy to run the village surgery, and the three women embark on changing not only their own lives but also the lives of others. And so they find succour and solutions in their mad midnight swims in the bracing Atlantic in a tale touted as The Calendar Girls meets The Lido.
