Ben Tucker, played by Simon Lennon, has returned to Emmerdale and could still have feelings for his former love interest, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
Aaron is going through a lot at the moment with Liv and everything going on at home and Ben could be just the shoulder he needs to cry on. Simon will only say that the option of their relationship being rekindled is available, but viewers will just have to wait and see. Street, is pleased and proud that his niece Kiara Mellor has now been cast in Hollyoaks.
Kiara plays the role of Kathleen-angel. Will, of course, got his soap start in Hollyoaks where he played James ‘Jambo’ Bolton in the late ’90s.
And Hollyoaks has con rmed that Strictly Come Dancing and Love Island stars AJ and Curtis Pritchard have made their nal appearance on the soap. Apparently, they were only on the show for ‘cameo roles’ and their nal scenes have already aired. Coronation Street’s James Bailey (Nathan Graham) has taken a back seat to his uncle, father and brother in the Bailey household lately. But he is about to become central to a new storyline which sees his former love interest, Danny Tomlinson, return to the cobbles. Also in Corrie, has Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) at last found a relationship that could work? Newcomer, Sam Retford, who plays Curtis Delamere, could be just what Emma is looking for. Alexandra is not complaining. “Having the opportunity to play those kind of failing relationships is amazing. at’s where all the fun is, but it would be nice to see what Emma is like in a long-term relationship because I’ve not had the chance to follow that through yet.” e UK’S National Television Awards, which will be announced on September 9, have published their nominations and of course the soaps feature prominently. All the main UK soaps, plus Neighbours and Home & Away, are up for awards in the Best Serial Drama category, with Emmerdale, Eastenders, Hollyoaks and Coronation Street having multiple nominations in the Serial Drama Performance category.
